What ^SS does
^SS overrides the automatically calibrated media, web and ribbon sensor thresholds. It is an advanced command normally generated by the printer's calibration rather than hand-written.

Notes & tips
- Usually produced by auto-calibration, not written by hand.
- Wrong values cause misfeeds — recalibrate if unsure.
